Want extra time?
Book a “double” 2 appointments back-to-back. Occasionally you may be able to add 5 minutes if no one is waiting. Ask your therapist about pricing.
Arrive on time
If you arrive early at your location and don’t plan to shop or dine before your massage seating is available in the cafe area or on the patio. Make sure your therapist is aware you are waiting.
Set up
Your therapist needs time to thoroughly clean and sanitize the massage chairs between each client so they are fully prepared when it’s your time to take a seat.
What to Wear
No need to change. Most people will get a chair massage in their regular attire. Avoid anything overly bulky or restrictive. You might be asked to remove accessories such as necklaces and larger earrings.
I’m pregnant, can I still get a chair massage?
Generally, yes chair massage is safe during pregnancy. It’s always a good idea to check with your healthcare provider to make sure it’s safe based on your individual circumstances.
Feedback
Let your therapist know if you feel stressed, sore or tender, have a headache or back, neck or shoulder pain. Your therapist can then tailor your massage to your needs.
Comfort
if at any time you feel uncomfortable let your therapist know. Your therapist can adjust the pressure of your massage, the headrest or chair to ensure you are able to fully relax.
